Hi, I’m Lauren!
Photographer, Mom of two, and the person behind LK Photo Company.
I’m based in Kansas City, Missouri & photograph families, newborns, couples, and weddings throughout Southwest Missouri, Kansas City, and beyond.
Being a Mom myself, I know how much effort can go into getting everyone ready for pictures. By the time you get to me, I want you to feel like you can take a breath. You don’t need to have posing figured out, & your kids don’t have to be perfectly behaved. I’ll guide you, we’ll leave room for their personalities, and we’ll get photos you’re excited to hang in your home. 🤍

With two kids of my own, I see how quickly things change. The way they fit in your lap, their little expressions, even the smile with a missing tooth… You think you’ll remember every detail.
That’s what I love about photographs. You get to keep a little piece of how life looked and felt right then.
I love a photo of everyone smiling at the camera, but I also want the ones where your toddler reaches for you or you make each other laugh. Those deserve a place on your wall, too.
